A friend and a very popular fellow blogger Amit Agarwal from Digital Inspiration has posted about a a new Facebook application called Map Motive which uses the Google maps technology to list or display all your facebook contacts geologically on a map.
The application is pretty simple in use. Once you add the application to your profile, it automatically pulls (after your approval) the location information from all of your Facebook contacts and display them on the map using Google maps as a background technology. Hover your mouse pointer to the marker above your friend photo and it will pop up the precise location map with basic profile information in a new windows.
Very informative and very fun and especially as mentioned by Amit, very useful if you are travelling to some other place and you need to quickly and easily find who of your Facebook friends are living nearby.
