So it was a nightmare for me the last couple of days as I was trying to figure out a problem with the rss feeds of my blog. I notice the problem a few days ago that the rss feed of The Life Digital were only showing the titles of the post and not a single word from the post content would show up. Apparently the problem could have been a settings issues at my wordpress installation or feedburner but I couldn’t correct the problem. Obviously it was too damn scary for me since I dont want the readers of my blog’s rss unsubscribing because of this issue.
Ultimately going into the depth of the problem more and more and seeking help from number of help forums, I couldn’t get a solution and ended up deleting my feed uri in feed burner by a stupid mistake and didn’t even setup a redirect (SO STUPID). Anyway the problem is now resolved but I had to burn the feeds again through feedburner but due to a glitch in feedburner I cannot use the old uri anymore. I am sad and frustrated that I have lost my subscribers because of this and there is no was that I can reach them back once again so I can only hope if they visit The Life Digital sometime again and find this post and update the uri in their rss readers.
Anyway, for those of you who regularly read my blog or follow my twitter updates should now know that the The life Digital feed uri is now changed to “http://feeds2.feedburner.com/TheLifeDigital” and I heartily request you guys to please subscribe or update the uri in your rss readers.or alternatively you can click the rss icon in the blog header or email icon for email subscription.
Thank you a lot and once again I am really sorry that I messed this up I hope you will stay with The Life Digital as before.
